We call our approach culture design and our field of work social innovation. We use the term culture design because we use methods and tools from the fields of both culture and design. And because our work is about understanding and developing culture – the ways we act, interact, and communicate.
By social innovation we mean a novel solution to a social problem that is more efficient, sustainable or fair than existing solutions, and which generates value for society as a whole.
