Christian has been appointed assistant professor at the Department of Management, Politics and Philosophy at Copenhagen Business School (CBS). Christian is supervising student projects and developing a new curriculum for a course on applied philosophy.

UiWE is on the winning team in the Viby Syd competition in Aarhus with Viggo Madsen Ingeniører, Arkitema, Effekt and Center for Idræt & Arkitektur. Our project proposes a diverse master plan for the area, new skin for the worn seventies building blocks and a strategy to support identity, social interaction and sense of community. We look forward to see the plan come to life!



Truly Yours in Stockholm

UiWE is giving a talk at the Truly Yours conference on methods for participation in Stockholm, March 17. On our agenda is fun and efficient ways to make people engage themselves and work together. We talk about Roskilde Social Lab and how to involve the festival-guests in developing ideas for a more social and sustainable festival – and world!

In a new The Streets’ video shot in Copenhagen, Mike Skinner is spending some quality time at “Under Halvtaget” at Carlsberg, a world of ropes that we made with Keinicke and Overgaard Architects. Check it out – the ropes enter the story about a minute into the video!

UiWE directs a workshop at Roskilde Festival’s seminar Piss Off March 3 at Danish Centre of Architecture. On the agenda are people’s – pretty bad – peeing habits in public space. At UiWE we are looking into how to create better, easiser ways for women to pee at events, festivals and concerts. If you’re in Copenhagen and interested in pee, drop by!

Social innovation in the US

Christian is exploring social innovation, design thinking and entrepreneurship in the US, passing by New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco thoughout February. On the agenda are talks with good people at good places like IDEO, ReD Associates (NY), General Assembly, The Hub (SF) and D-school at Stanford. Lot’s of interesting stuff happening these places, you should check them out!
