The Danish cross-ministerial innovation unit Mindlab hosts the international seminar “How Public Design” Sept. 1 & 2. On the agenda i how design and creative thinking can help adress the great challenges facing public sector management in smarter ways. The good people behind GivRum host the conference Think Space, August 19-20. On the agenda is creative use of empty buildings, urban planning and user participation. Christian moderates talks by two international pioneers in the field: Tim Jones from Artscape (Toronto) and Daniella Brahm from Exrotaprint (Berlin). The conference takes place at Prags Boulevard 43 – itself a good Danish example of creative use of empty buildings.
UiWe has been selected to document this years Green Footsteps initiative at Roskilde Festival. Green Footsteps is a strategic initiative to make partying sustainable. The question that interest us is: what makes people take common responsibility? We are eager to find out, and let you know.
