The development of design concepts at UiWe is based on the notion that we need to learn from tradition and at the same time challenge what we think we know. Practically, it’s a process involving observation, analysis, experimentation, evaluation, improvements, realisation, and communication.

A decisive element in this approach is collaborating with the people who have to live with the work we are involved in. Culture design is about the value of its everyday use. We don’t design for us, but for you.
