We developed a new identity for the former DSB Architects together with graphic designers Pleks and webdesigners B14. The new identity emphasizes the public focus of the office’s work in an updated tradition of DSB Architects. In the concept design we focused on showing the user focus in Public Architect’s work method.
Maritime Museum

BIG | 2008
Christian was part of the BIG team (Bjarke Ingels Group) winning the competition for the maritime museum in Helsingør – a 15.000 m2 museum placed around an existing dock facing the famous castle of Kronborg.
Culture Yard development

Christian coordinated the development process of the new cultural centre, Kulturværftet (the Culture Yard) from idea to architectural project, including the design and facalitation of a process involving citizens and future users of the place (with Kollision). The 10.000 m2 cultural centre includes a new library and a 500 person multifunctional eventspace. Expected to be finished in 2011.
Cultural policy process in Albertslund

Process design involving research, film-production and faciliation for some 100 local actors and citizens in the municipality of Albertslund. The the aim was to create an inspiring dialogue about the municipalities first cultural policy. The process itself focused on a range of themes, questions and images aimed at mapping qualities, resources and desires. The process was developed at VIA Design in collaboration with artist Karoline Larsen and professor Dorte Skot Hansen.

One-day workshop for some 100 architects.
The aim was to develop ideas to new ways of organizing architectural competitions. What is the form of a contemporary architecture competition? How do architecture competitions enable both disciplinary and interdisciplinary creativity?
The process was designed by VIA Design using personas as process tool. The results were handed to the AA Competition Secretariat.
Changing Metropolis

Christian Pagh edited the book ”Changing Metropolis – introducing artistic and cultural actions in city-making” with Ida Vesterdal. Inspired by the Metropolis Biennale 2007-2017, the book combines artistic, practical and theoretical perspectives on urban planning and city making. The Metropolis Biennale is an international festival for urban life, art and culture initiated by KIT (Copenhagen International Theatre).
Søndre havn Køge
Advisory board

Christian Pagh was invited to participate in the advisory group of the development of Søndre Havn (Southern Habour) in Køge, a unique 100.000 m2 development site focusing on culture as driver in the planning. The advisory consisted of researchers, artist and practioneers within the field of planning and culture.
